Volleyball Club Umag cadets premiered in county league
23rd of October 2016 Volleyball Club Umag cadets played their first game in county league against volleyball club Rovinj.
Since this game was their county league preimiere, the result of today's meeting was of secondary importance. This game and all future ones are result of many years of work with young players. Players from Rovinj won with result 0:3 (10:25, 14:25, 18:25).
"For this occasion, the players got new equipment sponsored by the Laserline Ltd Umag., for which we are very grateful, we handed it over to boys before the start of the match. We also took a picture with Laserline board member Mr. Roberto Vežnaver.
Laserline Ltd. is well known IT company from Umag which sponsors young players in sport clubs. We would like to thank you once again on behalf of the club and myself.
Congratulations to players, coach, public, parents, girls from the volleyball club OK Melia Hotel's Umag, representatives of the city, Deputy Mayor Nicky Čančarević and head of social affairs, Mr. Slavisa Schmalz and many volleyball fans that watched VC Umag - VC Rovinj game.
