Representatives of the Association of Croatian War Veterans from 154th Brigade of the Croatian Army delivered on 19 May 2017 in the City Hall of the City of Umag Monography of the "154. Brigade of the Croatian Army in the Homeland War" to the City of Umag, the Museum of Umag and Laserline, in gratitude for help and support in publishing the book.
When handing over Monography, President of UHBDR 154. Mato Magdic thanked Mayor William Bassanese, acting Director of the Museum Biljani Bojić and Ivica Glavocic from Laserline for help with the publication of this valuable monography, as well as the continuous support they provide during the work of the Association itself.
On the 6th and 7th of May 2017, 13th International Volleyball Tournament was played in Umag. Occasion was day of the city of Umag, organized by the Volleyball Club Melia Hotels Umag under the auspices of the City of Umag and sponsored by Laser line d.o.o. and Istraturist Umag d.d.
More than three hundred volleyball players attended this tournament in the Umag school hall, which, accompanied by professional staff and leadership of clubs and parents and loyal fans, arrived in Umag from Croatian clubs and clubs from three neighboring states: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Slovenia.
