On April 28th and 29th, 2018, the school sports hall in Umag hosted the 14th edition of the traditional International Volleyball Tournament held on the occasion of Umag City Day, organized by Volleyball Club Umag. This Umag tournament is one of the largest events of its kind in Croatia.
Over two hundred young female volleyball players competed in eighteen teams across three categories. The athletes, accompanied by coaching staff and a large number of parents and supporters, travelled from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy. The tournament was supported by numerous sponsors, among whom Laser Line d.o.o. Umag is a returning supporter every year.
